Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) combines psychotherapy and coaching, through a blend of mindfulness, identifying and understanding values and based on this establishing realistic goals for positive change and greater inner peace.
ACT is to structured to help clients attain their highest possible potential so that they can enjoy a fulfilling life journey; establish healthy habits, and enjoy a sense of physical and emotional well-being by living within their values and being present. I undertook training in ACT as part of my Government Accredited Hypnotherapy training and then went on to undertake more advanced training in ACT for Depression and Anxiety with Russ Harris’s in one of his highly acclaimed training programs.
