This has been a very unsettling week in the world. The US election result has created a lot of anxiety and anger not just in the US but all around the world.
If you're anxiety levels have been becoming more difficult to manage here are some things to bear in mind. In spite of all the doom and gloom reported on the news every day, the world is currently safer than it’s ever been. People like Trump come and go, they can cause disruption, however as a species we’ve made a lot of progress and in spite of some significant setbacks, life is better for most of us today than it ever has been in the history of humankind. Connect with like minded people, support each other, instead of asking "why has this happened to us?" ask instead "what are we going to do about it?" We will weather this storm.
