What is LEAP? LEAP stands for Lighter Emotionally and Physically LEAP is a unique program which I've created for people with more complex reasons for weight gain who therefore require more support in establishing healthier default choices, clearing emotional baggage and blocks and setting permanently in place new healthier ways of dealing with life challenges without derailing their new healthier lifestyle choices.
Who is the LEAP Program for? The LEAP weight loss program is for people that are experiencing one or more of the many complicating factors that can potentially contribute to weight gain, just a few examples are;
Adjusting to Life changes e.g. empty nest, retirement, relocation
Specific Food Aversions
Food can become a sub conscious strategy for creating a temporary sense of comfort and 'normality' while suppressing emotions. The problem with suppressing emotions is that just like when you try to hold a beach ball under water, they tend to pop up unexpectedly and sometimes with great force. It can take greater and greater effort and consumption to keep them suppressed.
How Does The LEAP Program Work?
The LEAP program consists of 12 sessions tailored to each individual clients requirements.
The first session is all about identifying the issues to be worked on and setting goals.
We then break them down and prioritise
Each session is systematically dedicated towards resolving and clearing the unresolved emotions and issues that keep you stuck as well as building the self-compassion and confidence that will enable healing and be the foundation for the mindset for success.
Through the power of Hypnotic suggestion you will learn and establish Healthier Behaviours and Strategies.
You will grow in confidence with the regular support provided as you learn the skills and techniques that will ensure you establish your new chosen lifestyle and enjoy the weight loss both physically and emotionally.
Why Did I Develop This Program? I've trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Professional Counsellor, Life Coach and EFT Practitioner, and done Post Graduate Studies in Counselling for Addictions as well as completing a Diploma in Nutrition. My years of experience in helping people lose weight has taught me that weight loss is challenging for everyone and my help will get them well on their way within 4 sessions; however for some people there is the additional challenge of dealing with one or more significant life complication while trying to lose weight. Food is fulfilling one or more need other than nutrition, and until those needs have either been resolved or are being satisfied in a healthier way, they will continue to result in relapse, placing people back on the diet merry-go-round.These people will benefit from additional long term support as they learn new ways to not only adapt to but thrive in the face of significant life changes and/or events.
